Dean is about 40 miles North of me up Highway 101. I have talked to him a few times and he is knowledgeable and good to work with. Good luck on converting the blower like the hot rodder's did in the early days, they just figured it out and made it work.

My 6-71 is a conversion when I bought it. The rotors had been flipped, hardened and triple pinned. The front and rear bearing plates had oil in them and there were balance lines front to back inside the webbing of the case. This was so you could add oil from the front and fill both the front and back. This is as close to "return the oil back to the oil pan" as I can fathom... - It leaked like a pig !! - but it worked. The best thing I did was to put sealed bearings in the back and seal off / remove the lines. Works great, haven't had to top up the front all season.

This is not a hard conversion but does take some simple machining to the case, possibly the rotor and some care and consideration to spacing of the rotors

    Good luck
