GM AUTO tranny ID

    Came out of my 57 Belair. I know its not original and suspect its a powerglide as it only has 2 speeds. Anyone know exactly what it is?

    Looks like my aluminum 'Glide. Didn't the cast iron ones not have a pan or something?

    I sould mention that it seems to be aluminum as it is very light.

    I agree, powerglide. I hear they are worth more if you don't paint them flat black.
