GM HEI vs points?

Module, sorry it was 399 not 299, its been in the car 15 years and I haven't touched it.

 

I'm for the HEI, for the long term reliability. Another option, if you want the look of the small dissy, is to go with a Pertronix" conversion...

This car is going to run points because of the dual fours but i've ran a lot of cars with points and never had a problem unless someone left the key on. I've ran a lot of cars with electronic ignitions and also no problems. I might be just lucky but I don't worry about it and just run whatever I've got.
