Back when CAR GUYS built CARS! What a sad end to American greatness.

 

All in all......this is some sad stuff. But maybe if China can keep buying Buick.......

 

Sucks, but it's their own fault. They just keep dropping the ball. They redesigned the SBC and BBC V8 Unfortunately those power plants were about all they had going for them in my lifetime. If they actually built a decent retro car with true body lines (sculpted in clay, by a human rather than a computer drafting program that makes cars look like Nike shoes) they may be able to sell vehicles.
Hate to admit it, but if I could afford a new car...I would buy a Toyota. I can't so I drive old Chevys daily!

 

I am with you on that, GM arrogantly ignored the world around them. And now the Corvette might be history??? WTF

 

Vehicle manufacturers only care about selling vehicles and making a profit.If the car has nice styling it was done to make it sell.Same for powerful engines and all the rest of the shit.
