I may have an extra set. My '22 Buick Roadster came with 2 sets of doors. Next week (the 13th) when BenD drops it off I can give you more info. Don't be afraid to remind me...

Hey ZMAN, leave that extra set of doors on BenD's trailer and let him bring them here to Michigan in a couple of weeks. [IMG] I think that just might be the motivation Matt needs to get his butt in gear with his build. [IMG]

The problem with that is there are two different size doors, long and short, I'm not sure which ones I'll be using. But he will be offered the ones I'm not using... Maybe it will be instantly obvious maybe not, we'll see..

I'm not trying to play tour guide here, but Ionia Speed Shop is a "must see" if you have even one hot rod blood cell in your body. Denny has been around long enough to know how it used to be done and the talent to build it safe with the old time look. I'm going to snag a set of their boxing plates for the next '32 frame I build, they're just too nice to not have.
Matt, thanks for the tour and be sure to tell your dad thanks also. I know I'll be back.

well ya see.... i was gonna stay home and work in the garage, after a little home improvement repair i need to finish. i never actually made it to the garage though. i got "tricked" into spending quality time with you know who [IMG]. it was only going to be a couple hours. she wanted me to go to the antique store in Lake Odessa. well, one antique store turned into 4 and the last 3 were actually in IONIA!! we went by the shop but by then everyone was in Muskegon. still, they left the door unlocked so i got to see things for myself. it's been a little while since i've been down there to help or to visit.

If your talking about Mike, Earl Schieb, he was actually at his shop working on Big Olds. [IMG] We'll take him by to visit the Ionia Hot Rod Shop when he comes to town.
