Hey guys I'm not trying to muddy the water so to speak or say that Wikipedia are THE Hot Rod authority. I just merely used this to give a fresh perspective on why we took the direction we did. Rat Rod is just a name, honestly if you like the model but don't like the name then buy the model but throw the outer box in the trash, burn it, drag it down the road. Although I did develop the graphics for the box which look pretty cool I think. If I didn't care about input from other hot rod guys especially the guys that are only into the traditional hot rods I wouldn't even post on here. GMP has been listening since the first post on this. Not all our models are for everyone and that's why we do different themes for different people to choose from. Really a hobby is mostly about having fun, and if you're not having fun then why do it? We're just having fun with this and this appeals to a large group of guys that are already drooling over these types of hot rods and theme. I think even as of this typing they are sold out through GMP between our dealers and retail collectors. That's GOOD, that means we make more hot rods and it also means we look at doing even another run which follows more closely to what you guys consider "Traditional Hot Rods". I think Jalopy Journal is already taken by somebody else.
