Hey y'all, I own a '64 Chevrolet C20 that has a 292 in it backed by a 4 spd. trans, all original, down to the owners manual that came with it. recently my waterpump pulley just took a shit on me and cracked the center hub 'cause someone prior to me used a washer to shim it to keep it from hitting the waterpump by-pass hose. I've read that some inline 6 parts can be interchangeable and cannot and was wondering what they might be. Also, I'm looking to convert my C20 stepside longbed into a K20, a local junkyard has a '61 K10 paneltruck in their boneyard and was wondering if there would be any modifications I'd have to make to the frame to accomidate the four wheel drive setup other than swap out the double A-arm front suspension for leaf springs.
well to be perfectly honest, I think you will find that chevy v8 pullys are mostly interchangeable, its not hard to find them in the pick-n-pull yards,, but, I would be remiss if I didnt tell you that your first post around these here parts should be your INTRO, so, why not go back, do that INTRO thingy, and then make a new thread,, you may find your answer,, or you can try The Stovebolt,, they have a lot of hard core chevy nuts Either case, Welcome to the HAMB
