I'm doing a major remodel on my house. So, I don't have a kitchen. Maybe one of my kids will let me make a big ol' mess in their kitchen. That's about the only way I can make a pot. But, it's been way down in the 50s at night here. Chili sounds good on cold days like that. I'll try real hard to make it happen, though. Really looking forward to seeing you folks...

 

HI DENISE, Why dont we try to have a potluck lunch of some sort? It will save us from a $20.00 faifground hot dog lunch? Just a thunk!

 

Sounds GREAT to me bud but someone else will have to plan it. Preferably someone with a car that will be outside and has enough room to bring a couple of tables and possibly a grill. Being as I'm a vistor and staying at the local hotel I really don't have access to a kitchen to make anything so Megan and I would be moochers OR we'd bring a bag of chips like most guys around here do when it's a pot luck.

Anyone got a car and parking area planned and wanna "host" a pot luck lunch?

 

Your a guest, your not expected to contribute. And yes, a well planned variety of chips and dips does sound better than a $20.00 hot dog? Just a thought to try and bring our family a little closer.

I'm flying out on Tuesday for a week in So. Cal. This will be my first time at the GNRS. I'm looking forward to the experience, and meeting fellow H.A.M.B. folks. This shoveling snow is getting old....

 

No snow here but maybe we'll have an earthquake or two for you!
