Gorgeous photos! I go each year but I always enjoy seeing photo coverage more, its the only way to really study each car. Between the crowds and my kid dragging me to food and toy vendors I really feel like I miss alot.... Thanks for posting....

The Art Deco Buick and Atom Dodge Dart were both built by my friend Justin Hill from Australia. He won First Place for the Atom in Radical Hardtop. If I hadn't told him to open his car up I could have done better than Third probably. :)

    I like the Hetfield Whatever-it-is . . . I don't care what y'all say. :)

A tiny bit over-the-top cartoonish, but it doesn't miss by much. But then again, I liked the Efijy . . .

Does Dean Lowe have anything to do with this car?

Well, I thought that an RPU "A" with Lowe on the plate was either yours or an extreme coincidence.

Too bad we didn't connect there. If I had seen the plate when I shot it Thursday, I would have looked for you (no one was with the car then). I didn't see the name on the plate until I got home and looked at the shots....I shot it because it's an impressive car.

Thanks to you and everyone else for the nice comments on my photos.

    Thanks for all the photo's.
The shot of my Panel truck is perfect, its a keeper, nice complement to my LeRoy Grannis back in 1963.

Mike, I thought that your truck looked more like an authentic surf wagon and was, stylistically, my favorite in the room. I had thoughts of Doug Hays' (Mazooma)"A" panel when I saw yours.

Here's a shot I took of Doug's panel in show at a show in the old Great Western Exhibit Center back in 1967.

    What's a LeRoy Grannis?
