Here ya go from my point & shoot... Lots of nice touches on this ride! Thanks for posting the photos Tom, great shots!
A real, or a faux "survivor" Nomad you be the judge. Closeup of paint. Count the layers! The story I got was that it was his Dad's car, which sat outside unprotected for the past 9 years. Judging by the style of the flames, the paint must be at least 30-40 years old.
Here's the front of the '39 sedan. It's my dad's car that I designed for him. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2125383&stc=1&d=1390936526
Thanks; that's better than my shot, which needed a lot of editing. That's a great look you came up for your Dad, the stance is what did it for me!
49ratfink, yeah, great idea. Problem is, I have another 3000 shots yet to edit. Hahahah I should have just gotten rid of it, but it does sort of establish a sense of the place. Distracting, though. The other shot of the car I subsequently posted, with the sunset, is a much better shot.
Tom, you always take great pics but you know that. This has been a great time to be alive because there is something for everybody. Thank you, Tom.
His Dad was Walt Prey a well known stripper in socal My 49 merc was done by him. I talked to him at the show, meant to get a "T" shirt from him but got busy. Roger (That is his dads car)
