Outstanding work, you sir are a true artist. Every year I look forward to your photos. Helps me to relive the few times I was there and is a welcome diversion from frigid Indiana.
A bunch of the pics I took during my time at the show can be seen here: http://www.eastwood.com/blog/eastwood-chatter/gnrs-2014/
I thought that other guys photo's were supposed to be the best damn pictures but yours are waaaaaay better. no comparison. thanks for sharing B
' Obviously you haven't read through the whole thread. Before I even posted mine I told Tom that his are truly the best on the HAMB and my post won't come even close. Whenever I post my pictures my tag line is always "The best damned pictures of......" No matter what event. They are the best that I took!!! Toms are the best that anyone took and I know this. One thing that's for sure, they are better than yours
The carpet has a story. One of the AMBR cars crashed on Wednesday and it sure looked like it was in the running of being the AMBR award winner. If you see the carpet, you will see two skid marks. The next pictures are where the car hit the storefront. Messed up his car and ran over a Judge. The Judge is OK with 2 broken ribs and s***ches in the head. Now you know the meaning of the pictures of the storefront gl*** and the skid marks on the carpet. Even people that heard and saw the original post of the damaged car on Wednesday, didn't notice where the car crashed. They fixed it pretty damned fast. At least temporary so nobody even noticed. Also it was my Wife who had a brand new Camera that she somehow switched the setting to soft. Yes Toms pictures are incredible and he is a Professional. Not like my wife and I. The carpet showed where the car skid and lost control.
Thanks for the pics Tom! As has been well noted, all of your work and talent is much appreciated here. BTW, the evening and twilight shots are, er, well, ... magic. bob
You're perfecting those new effects, Tom. Nice and subtle, very well done. Not over the top, like some others. Wouldn't even notice if I hadn't been following along on some of your exploits.
Absolutely beautiful, thanks so much to all for sharing the pics. In some ways better then being there as I would have went into overload trying to process and retain what I was looking at.
^^^^^^ If you stay inside the "traditional style box", a 32 roadster sure looks good! Thanks for the great pic's.
