Just wondering if we need a separate thread "Best Tom Davison photo at the GNRS"?

Perfect hotrod. I even dig the color. Great shot tom. Thx for all the work.

The way that Mr. Davison "draws out" the colors of the cars is amazing to me. I have no idea how he does this, but if you look at especially pearls, you notice the depth.
The red Ford and the grey Chevy in Post 273 above are examples of what I am trying to say.
He would have my vote for official GNRS photographer.

Thanks for noticing! I do Use Adobe Lightroom to adjust most of my photos, aiming to bring out colors, contrast and details. I crop the frame for emphasis and I have tricks I use to minimize background clutter. I will use Photoshop to remove distracting elements and display ropes. It's a fine line between (1) making nice, strong adjustments and (2) going "too far". I try very hard not to do that but I do fail on occasion. I also have historically adjusted a preference toward a darker image and I am trying to lighten up somewhat, as this thread might illustrate.

Is this car build from a 2 door sedan or a coupe? The top doesn't look at all like a 3 window top, unless it was reworked extensively.

My guess…it’s the chop…the back of the top is laid down to streamline the flow.

The Glass Slipper looking so fine. I like the trick done to the Ford tube axle.

Yeah but that wouldn't take care of that yeti cranium hump the 3w has, you pretty much have to rebuild all the roof behind the doors and insert to get rid of it, plus it looks like the B posts are leaning forward and more curved almost like a front door window frame was used.
    It's gorgeous.
