Event Coverage GNRS 2024 Live From Pomona

It’s clear with scattered clouds this morning. High of 57. Should really help to bring out the outdoor drive- in cars portion of the show.

 

C'mon fellas, I was really looking forward to blowing off work this morning looking at GNRS pics. I've gotten way too much done and we need to remedy that...

 

Dan, I am unable to post my phone pics, getting error messages. I have hundreds of pictures on my Real camera, and will triple that the next two days. It will be the definitive collection when I start posting them full time from my computer Sunday afternoon.

 

It's cool Tom, just bustin' your chops all in good fun. Your pics are amazing and worth the wait.

 

Thanks for using a real camera, when you can. I do, when I want/need the resolution.

 

I get error messages when I click on any of the photos stored in my computer. From what I read it’s a big problem for lots of people. Thanks for all you do!

 

I am able to clean up my “real” photos, but for that I need my computer and Adobe Lightroom……..Sunday afternoon

 

No need to apologize, Its like ordering a hamburger and they made a mistake an added an extra paddy. Its all good.
I'm not able to make it so I really appreciate the event coverage. Thank you for taking the time to post the pics.

Great Photos! My skills end at finger painting.

 

Obviously influenced by the Hispano Suiza "Xenia" but still with a wow factor.

 

Simply done, but very nice.

I like this idea, panel striping but on the horizontal, not so much the vertical. I think it looks faster, lower, sleeker.

 

A change of look for this car then, with the hub caps and wide whites ditched.

After seeing that set up picture, all I can think about is

A million dollar car and display, and the thinking is toss all the fasteners on the ground for assembly
and these guys running a buffer indoors with EVERYONE AROUND wiping down their prized objects

Guess it's like they say, never watch the process of sausage making or laws being crafted.

EDIT: Tom Davidson himself corrected me and explained that it's all props for the finished display as shown. Doh!
