Event Coverage GNRS 2024 Trad Rod n Custom

That's a tough call. I'd bet that there are about as many guys here that are annoyed at having to keep track of a dozen threads about a single event (only a slight exaggeration) as those who find other photographers adding to a thread annoying.

As far as AMBR, I really liked the '34 Roadster. A traditional real 100% Henry Ford, traditional, Full Fendered, Merc Flathead, Cadillac transmission, 40 Ford dash, Quick Change, Magneto, Reverse Chrome, Etc. Tons of subtle metal work....Definitely my vote.

The owner had the history of the car going back about 65 years. He had finished it in the honor of a PNW builder Dale Withers who was a metal man and had built a lot of folks and this was his personal car. What happens often is that the "High Rollers" hire the "High Dollar" builders and they always win. I understand that the "machine" has to be fed.

I also will say that seeing Jim Butler with the traditional 32 roadster was good. He is a good guy.

The weather became awful on the last day.

 

it is not a tough call when you take an hour to make your photos look their best and another half hour to post them only to find a bunch of crappy snap shots in the middle of your thread.

 

I like all traditional rods n customs but I do have a roadster with a flatty thats on deck for getting built so I spose that is showing in my pics and focus a bit haha
