Event Coverage GNRS,Sacramento Autorama, Merc gathering UPDATE

Grand National Roadster Show - January 23 - 25th 2009.

Its shaping up very well. Just got off the phone with John Buck - the producer of the event. There will be one building dedicated to as many past GNRS & AMBR award winners as we can find. Any 1950 - 2008 winner still around are illegible .

SUEDE PALACE - A lot of you have not sent in your applications and need to send them in asap. Don't mail your stuff at the last minute as we are receiving other entries and may eventually approve others - not giving your car a chance.
SUEDE DRIVE IN - Will be happening - cars will park all around the Suede palace.


Vendors - We still have a handful of vendor spots left.

Entertainment - Lil Mo & the Dynaflows, Russell Scott & the Red Hots, Police & Thieves,Rip Carson - Plus Dj's Tom Ingram,Flat Top Tom, and Myself will be spinning the good stuff all weekend!




Sacramento Autorama - February 6 - 8th 2009.

SUEDE PAVILION - Is also shaping up very well. This year we'll be given the entire building - instead of just a portion. We're allowing more cars & more vendors.Car Club participation is encouraged - hand made trophies will be given out to clubs favorite car.
SUEDE DRIVE IN - Will be happening - cars will park all around the Suede pavilion.

Vendors - We still have a handful of vendor spots left.

PRESTIGIOUS CUSTOM MERC DISPLAY - As most of you have read in my other thread its shaping up very well, and we have approx 30 of the BEST custom Mercs in the world. We are considering allowing a handful more. If any of you know any historically significant Mercs out there (even Barn finds) made between 1939 - mid 50's ,and are not on Rik Hovings list please let us know.

Entertainment - Top notch Surf and Blues bands will be performing all weekend. Will announce them shortly.
