Hot Rods GNRS whose going ???

Just got my paperwork for Saturday drive in. Hoping for dry and sunny weather.. wet and windy is lousy in a roadster!

 

LOL like you have never been wet before.

 

Or 60% chance of not raining. Still better than the rainy PNW, I'll be there.

I'll be there on Saturday. My first time too. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

I was hoping to do the drive in on Saturday, but my car is apart right now and I'm not sure I will get it back on the road by then. I work during the day and have some blues gigs to play tonight and Friday night. I've been stealing a few hours here and there when I should be working, hoping I can wrap it up tomorrow, maybe I'll play hooky from work....

 

BTW, the latest local forecast is calling for rain on Sunday, possibly on Saturday. It kind of depends on if a current high pressure zone sticks around for awhile and forces the incoming storm up and around us or not.

 

Is there a meet up area ???

No we didn't and that is a missed chance at meeting guys like you that come so far and other good HAMBR'S. There were several who said they were going that I would have liked to meet. That should never happen again. I hung out with Lurker Mick and a couple a friends of ours and really enjoyed my time with them .

 

We met up with a few from here but no where near as many as I would of liked to, shame as was a good opportunity to meet like minded enthusiasts and we could of drank beer !!!

 

Usually we meet up outside the Suede Palace at the ACME speed shop booth. But only a few show up and I wish there were more. Gotta work on this.

I hear ya bud, certainly expensive and don't get me started on that rubbish Bud light !!!

 

Maybe a HAMB meeting area for the LARS would be a good idea. Bob
