Event Coverage Going on a BIG cross country trip to LA Roadster show, need YOUR input!

Wow! Was that planned or just a crazy coincidence?

 

Actually a coincidence! Megan had been planning on alot of 2-lane highways to get to CA, but ended up doing alot of interstate driving. I'd been in contact with her and knew we'd cross paths somewhere in Colorado. (I was driving from CA to Omaha, NE, in a '68 Chevy pickup that I just bought from Royalshifter) I saw them coming towards us, far enough ahead, to have just enough time to grab my camera and snap a photo. Pretty crazy, but cool!

Just got back from Last day of LARS - Saw Matt & Megan puttin' lots more miles on that great little roadster - safe travels you two!

 

A day or two earlier I got this spy photo:

 

Made it back last night around 5. 6k miles or so, woohoo!

Great seeing so many of you and meeting many new HAMBers as well. It really was a trip of a lifetime! (not THE, I want to do it again! )

I'll post an adventure thread once I get my life back under control (starting with my desk! )

Great to hear you made it back in A-OK condition. We sure missed you in BG, and I'm sure you missed the 105 temps with 80% humidity....not.

Great to see you out there! Without a doubt, that's the best road trip there is and the LARS is the gold at the end of the rainbow for me. Anyway, I'm glad you guys had a safe and troublefree trip. The neat thing about the trip is you can replay every mile and good time you had the rest of the year!
