going to try to build a 33 terraplane

The 33 Terraplane 8 is a beautiful car, do it justice. I am currently working on one, refreshing the OE 8 cylinder engine to put back to stock. These were considered a factory Hot Rod in the day, favored by gansters ( search Dillenger Terraplane). They were light, low, and fast.



I am interested in ANY OE parts that you may end up with on yours. Does it have the engine? I still have a long way to go to get this one back together, and would appreciate any spares I can find.

yes gangster all the way i like it way better than my a.. and it will keep its fenders

yes i know about the dillinger history

as far as left over parts there was no motor or trans. the front end is chevette . the rear is from a citation if i remember correctly from what i was told when i got it. there ie i gauge and some pedals. . oh there is some window regulators i wont be needing

for those wondering i am finally able to work,. where i have had the hudson . so between the boat work and another venture i have going in the building now that i pay rent,i can work on the hudson again today i got the windshield area tacked ,and welded to a point was looking good until i took too much off on the pass front a pillar body line you can see it in the pic,i can probably live with it but may try to weld and blend. not bad for my first time so for though.

 

I hope you do. I like to show you my 33 Terraplane. I have AIR RIDE 4 WAY Ram jet 350, 700r4 ,ford 9" 350 gears, alum drive shaft, 4 wheel disc brakes.

 

that thing is sweet.. nice ride im trying to do mine justice..
