Anyone ever heard of a Golden Dove Carb?
I know it came from Rochester Products but I am just curious to know what it is?

  2. Everything about the pics just screams 70s smog carb... Could be from a Vauxhall or Holden? I Googled it just for fun...some pretty "interesting" stuff comes up when you look for pictures! :D

I found on Wikipedia of all places the golden dove came after the turtleback Rochester AA and was the predecessor (or prototype) to the quadrajet. Interesting stuff! And I was looking for that crazy turtleback because someone quized me about what reason the turtleback Rochester made history. I still don't know. I know it was low profile side draft and had a gear driven accelerator pump. Not much else.
