Need ideas on a good replacement for the Ol' stromberg 94 on my F-1 8BA. Did a search and came up with a Champion 614C. The local auto parts joint says "Yeah, we can get one for 239.00 plus core. Now I know another fella that bought one for his F-1 about a year ago and, and he said he got a Holley at Shucks for about 70 or 80 bucks. So I went to CKS AUTO on line and found the Champion 614C for $87.49...
So the question is, does anyone have any part #s or sugestions cause none of the 5 94's I have are worth a damn. And the one on the truck now was rebuilt using the best parts of the 5. You can turn the air/fuel mix screws in and out with out a difference in the way it runs at all. I almost thought about getting an adapter from Speedway to put a 4 hole flange carb on it..Just looking for an affordable, reliable option...I just want to drive..Thanks

im always a little warey about buying rebuilt stuff from the parts store cause most of the***** isnt rebuilt well at all, that adapter to run the 4 bolt carb might be the ticket, but if your buddy had good luck from the parts store maybe u will too/
