No explanation. That photo was posted on the National Desoto clubs site last year. I think it's been circulating on the internet for a little while. I think I know the road though. It's a windy mountain road just east of phoenix. It leads to a canyon "Lake" that all the trendy(asshole) boaters go to. They all drive their 4x4 haulers @ 60mph on a 15 mph road... no loss.

Now this guy was havin' some fun! NOT!!! You'll probably have seen this one around. Pic was given out by USAF last week or so... It happened at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, last September... The pilot ejected 140 above the ground, 0.8 seconds before impact!!!!!

I love 49 Mercurys..... I need one I think.......I went to a few of the Merc/Deuce Reunions 79,84 and 89....and got the fever bad.

I bought one 10 years ago but it was such a pile of poo.....I sold it. It was too far GONE for me and my talents. I did keep the factory fender skirts ..


Maybe one day......I keep hoping......
