Alchemy should have introduced you to his brother Corn Fed here on the HAMB. He was sitting in the chair by his Sedan.

I was there but somewhat limited in my mobility so thanks for shots of many I didn’t see.

I was there trying to sell my off topic truck that I built and raced last fall in Rocky Mountain Race Week. It is in the background of the photo on the first page with my friends green and black 32 Tudor sedan. I am even in that photo in the background with the orange shirt. I had some offers on the truck but I brought it home.

    Great event.

Took the grandson up on Saturday in the Rambler. Weather was great and the show was awesome as usual.
Seemed to me that there were fewer vendors the last two years but otherwise we had a good day.

Also, it seemed to me that there were less traditionally styled cars too.
Anyway, my pick for the show was this blue 55 g***er.
The paint work was crazy! The longer you look at it the more detail you noticed. 20220702_133150.jpg

Dan, thank you for the pictures. I did not see you or Malcolm. David(I rant) looked for you as well but never found you. Such a great event and moderate temperatures this year. Sam

Was there a “Deuce Doings” area set-up this year?

Yes, I did not walk through it but Jerry’s Duece Phaeton was there all day.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I need to make it up there, someday.

  20. Thanks for the pictures, great to see. With 4800 cars it is surprising that everyone picked the same couple of cars to post, that speaks to the quality of those builds.

LOTS AND LOTS of non-friendly HAMB cars. More so this year than in years past and I think it will only get worse.

That is the main reason I only attend on Friday and Saturday, and head down the road on Sunday. ( on Sunday they open the gates to just about anything. $$$) Actually the whole event is too big for my taste, I seem to enjoy a “national” event with half as many entries. I walked most of the fairgrounds, saw some really nice vehicles but only a couple worth reaching for the camera. There was excess pro built cars. (And trucks)
