I've had this site bookmarked for quite a while but just joined yesterday after I read a thread about 55 chevy g***ers - I was impressed.

Me? Grew up and still live in the Sacramento, Ca area; graduated h/s in 1967 (can't think of a better era to be a teenager or car nut); 2 tours in Viet Nam; married, 2 kids, divorced:(; graduated college w/BA; remarried, another kid and still married after 30 years:); contractor, developer and real estate broker and all 3 businesses currently stink. And no, it isn't my fault. :D

Current project (for over 5 years ) is a 1929 all metal 3 window Chevy coupe powered by a well built 400" SBC with 186 casting fuelie heads; comp cam; Crane gold roller rockers; and topped by an X1 6x2 Edelbrock with 6 BA's. I have all the sheet metal but, if I ever finish it, the coupe will be a street rod only, no fenders, etc.. It has the biggest Mickey Thompson Sportsmans on the rear, sits low and looks mean. Currently has a Turbo 350 but I have an M21 Muncie and all the parts (except a lowered geared posi and clutch linkage) for a conversion. I know, I know - but there's something about the "clack" noise Hurst linkage makes between 2nd and 3rd gear that I love.

I don't know how to post pictures or I would. Sorry.
