This picture popped up in a Facebook group. I had forgotten all about grease racks at old country stores back in the good old days. People did whatever they had to so they could make a dollar and survive. I thought the car on the rack looked like something somebody on here would be driving today. I just thought it was a super cool pic and that I should share it. As a matter of fact I think all three vehicles in the pic look like H.A.M.B. material.
Necessity is the mother of invention,..... And "lifts" like that one is exactly why we have emergency rooms, ambulances & trauma teams ,..... Just kidding,... Cool picture !
I drive by an old store that has a rack beside it everytime I go to the farm. It would be kind of hard to use now days with the tree growing up out of the pit. Larry T
