[QUOTEDid the same Mark VIII on mine & I Jaged the front. How did you get the 373 posi by Fearless?[/QUOTE]

I took the third member to Fearless Gear out of Fresno CA for a fee they replaced all the internals. They also did not start the warranty until I put the truck on the road
The Lincoln came with a choice of peg leg 307 gears or 327. I used my OT truck as a guide line to what I needed, it has the same size tires and the weight was so close.

Would someone with a 1958/'59 F100 take a measurement for me, please?
    I've Photoshopped a '58 Ford grille into a my later-model (off-topic) GMC pickup.
It looks good, but I need to know if it will work in reality without sectioning.
What is the width of the grille at its widest point?
    Thanks in advance.

Here's the 1950 I have, bought brand new by grandpa and sitting inside since 1978 waiting on me. Fairly loaded back in the day, V8, radio, heater, rear bumper, oil filter, second wiper. Flathead was not the original and cracked, it's getting a 255 Mercury flathead.

  15. After several years of good intentions and a couple of other distractions (my former '37 sedan and my current '40 stake truck), I am finally heading to the St Louis area to pick up my '54 F100. It was my high school hot rod, and has been garaged since I left for college, back in '84. It's got a lot of rust and other issues, but still has the stock 239 Y Block and 3 speed Overdrive. Looking forward to getting it back on the street.

Made the run to StL and dragged the truck out of the garage. Thanks to @gonmad, for the use of his trailer, as well as my brother-in-law, for letting me use him and his truck, and shop, for the upcoming near future.

Swapped the wheels and tires for some '70s era 15x6 OEM Ford mags, with some 205/70/15's up front and 235/75/15's out back. Once I can get some new springs and dropped axle on the front, I think the little front tires will not look so out of place.

  25. Well, after many years of just running a dropped axle I finally got the rear end down to an acceptable height: 10253879_10205696531962224_9120123728733148598_n.jpg BTW, the hood is off because I have been doing a complete engine, trans, and rear end swap. Hopefully this thing will be back together soon. Can't wait to be driving it again.
