Thanks. The guy who wrote it, writes for the Long Beach paper out here, and some times has some good car and music stuff in the Press Telegram.

On a related note, the guys from Tornado Design are close to finishing their dutch book. From what I heard, it should be really good.

You know, that was actually pretty well written.

The author seemed to get the majority of his facts straight as well...and he cited good sources, in my opinion.

There's no animosity left between Skratch and VDO is there? [IMG] I don't blame him.

Fuck that Michael Cassel guy...he'd***** his own mother's corpse if it could make him a few bucks.

Are there any websites that have good pictures of his paintings?

  7. Got it to open up finally.

Ya' know, I hope folks read this article real, real closely.

I appreciate what the guy did for pinstriping, I really do. But I don't appreciate him being a drunken fool who treated people (and his wife & unborn baby) like*****.

Maybe the whole defiling-his-name-through-the-clothing-line-thing is bad karma coming back to haunt him. Kenneth Howard may just be getting back what he dealt out to so many people.

And yeah, I'm sure all sorts of people will have nasty stuff to say about me thinking this...but I stand behind what I said. He was a talented artist. He was not an admirable man (from what I have read and heard).

  8. I just passed this info along to some kids here at work who have no idea, but buy all that mall stuff..

Very, very good read... thanks for the post! Opened up abit more about Von Dutch himself that I didn't know. Something you'd figure though... most extremely talented, ledgendary artists are usually pretty messed up folks. [IMG]

Ya know, I usta think people who wore VDO were idiots and clueless posers...

Until I heard about Paris Hilton wearing that stuff...

SHE can, and should be left to do, WHATEVER she WANTS...

    To ME.

    ANYTIME.

I sent the link to wife, at work.
    She replied;
"I like how the article classifies Ashton Kutcher as a "pretty girl"!"
