I've gotten a lot from you guys; time to start paying back.
My 51 Ford needed brake work and I had a tough time getting brake fluid into the master without either spilling it all over or getting crud in the reservoir. Here's my solution.
Take a clear 2 liter pop bottle. Cut it off about 6" from the top.
You now have a clear funnel that you can center over the reservoir and use to add brake fluid. When you pick it up, put the cap back on and you won't get brake fluid all over the floor.
    Hope this helps someone

Mustard/ketchup bottles like you see at picnic stands are cheap and work great for this. You can get them at the dollar stores and if you play with squeezing them you can pull them up while they are ****ing in air,,,,,no mess.

Hey guys, I was supposed to be helping you. I like the ketchup/mustard plastic squeeze bottle. I think that would work better than my 2 liter funnel. Don't forget the funnel though. It's nice to have a disposable one that you can cap off.

I built my sedan close to 20 years ago and at that time I made a cover in the floor to access the master cylinder and since I still don't have carpet it's never been a problem. HRP

Preferred method, in order of my preference:

    1) Remote filler / reservoir

    2) Access hatch.

    3) Squeeze bottle / pump can.

If you go with the squeeze bottle / pump can, make sure to wear eye protection as a splash of brake fluid on the eyeball is more than uncomfortable.

I've used a twist top mustard bottle for years. Works great. My master cylinder is quite hard to get also, it sits below the steering column under the hood, and not under the floor pan. Removal of the toe board will allow access, but it's much easier to fill from under the hood with the mustard bottle.

I think that out of the above I like the Siracha bottle is prolly best as it does have a closeable top that is not easily lost cause it's affixed to the spout so you can easily seal it back up.
Brake fluid is hydroscopic and will absorb water from the air, and this lessens that problem considerably.
But Jeez, I like Siracha sauce as well as anybody, but its very potent, and it will take me a long time to use up a bottle! Either got to pour it up in sumpin else for future use, or wait a year to use it up first, or use so much of it that I'll have to stick my *** in the creek every time I take a **** to keep it from catching on fire! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
