Goodbye, HAMB

This old guy is out of here. I tried to responed to one of the HAMBS's favorite folk, JimA, but Ryan would not let me speak unkindly about the wonderful JimA. My comments were blocked again and again. JimA, of course, is permitted to say whatever he chooses to say.

 

Before you go running off Mike, I would talk to Ryan and get the real scoop. I dont think he was censoring you. If anything he would kick out Jim first.

 

I don't know what happened.

All I do know is that you're a great source of inspiration. Remember this post?

You sure it's just not a glitch in the system at one end or the other made your post go away?

I doubt Ryan edited your post, if he did he'd say so as he always has in the past.

 

Hang around cause when the going get's tuff, the tuff get going. Your're tuffer than that and have much to contribute.

If Ryan is actually censoring you I doubt you'd be the only one to go. Honestly I really don't think that's the case. Ryan can speak for himself.

Now I have had in the past thread responses that I posted never show up. It happened a couple of times for what it's worth.

Av8, I have'nt been here all that long,but I have become familiar with your posts and it seems to me that you are a hot rodder at heart and know your stuff.I would hate to see you leave,due to these facts.Surely what ever the problem is,it can be worked through.Stick around,theres a lot of good here.

I think it was just a technical glitch, If Ryan edited the post would'nt it say so at the bottom of the post? Don't jump the gun AV8, I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation.

I can say for the record that I'VE been censored in the past. I ALSO have the conviction of my own thoughts and THE SENSE OF HUMOR to accept that I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS BOARD and sometimes may say things which are Unacceptable, due to these convictions. I am a mere participant. I accept without reservation, Ryan's right to clean up any offensive language or modify a reply. ALL posters at this site are or should be aware of this. I would assume, aV8 would be. It would be sad to see him leave, but we ALL know that this "garage" is somewhat of a a commnity affair, should try not to start flame wars, and respect it's owners right to manage it.

 

Mike, give it a rest please. You pulled the same sympathy gambit on RRT not too long ago and on the Fordbarn before that.
You are a top source of info and guidance but way too sensitive about little shit for crissakes.

I have posted or made a reply to a post and know that I have hit the send button to never see the message hit the board. I never thought Ryan had deleted/blocked or censored me. I always assumed that my message is floating somewhere in cyberspace? I have seen replies to questions come in before the actual question made it to the board???? I'm sure it is just a glich in the system. If not...this is a real PISSER!

AV8 have you talked to Ryan about this or is this just an assumption?

Ryan has always seemed to be a VERY fair guy. I doubt that he has busted anyone's chops for no reason. I'm sure it all must be a misunderstanding......hang around!

 

aV8 - Please dont leave - you are a inspiration to many. After reading your book I was obsessed with building many traditional hot rods. You are a HUGE source of knowledge and we would be VERY saddened to see you leave. Talk to Ryan and find out the scoop.

Please take some time to think about this problem. I have seen many cases of misunderstandings on the internet. Most of the problems were caused by people who do not communicate their thoughts well when typing. I value your insight and your knowledge and I do not want to lose it.

 

Some of us decide which threads to read based on the subject line.
On select occasions,I will read the thread,or ignore it,based on who posted it.
I always make a point of reading AV8's posts.

Your friends will miss you Mike.
