Looks good. 2 things I hate is rubber fuel hose and headers. I'm not sure which one I dislike more. Probably the rubber hoses because the are so dangerous.

  2. I think that's a compliment?

The carbs are Ford/Holley 94's and they and the adapter came from the Dickster here on the H.A.M.B. - he posted up earlier on this thread.

Looks great! Not much worries me, but clear fuel lines, bad chassis welds and cars w/o front brakes all make me nervous.
I like your throttle bracket. Any plans to "unpaint" the Weiand intake manifold? Natural or polished aluminum intakes are just a personal preference of mine.

Looks great. Thinking about this update myself and will have to talk with Dick.

  5. I have been looking for a new manifold, one with a front tube and a slight rise for the right price and once I do it will be beaded & bare.

Punctuation marks are your friend... wait... punctuationmarksareyourfriend...

  7. At first I thought that was a nailhead, given the color, now I gotta ask, is that Detroit Diesel Alpine Green?

The lines look good, way more "professional".

  8. You caught me, yes it is Detroit Diesel Alpine Green :)

  9. I thought so... I just played hell finding that stuff from the OEM, by the gallon! But I did find it for the guy... Locally even. :)

  10. Good eye too as the color doesn't show up correctly in the pictures, looks more teal.

Locally here in Michigan huh? Where at?

They both look good but i sorta like the red hoses....

  12. The original OEM was Titan Paint, now they're called United. The address is Detroit, but it's a 248 phone number. PM me if you want the contact info.

I work at the DDC customer support center, so instead of Hemi orange or Ford blue, my blood runs Alpine Green. :)

I like the red hose, too. The new stuff that is sold by Mooneyes is much better than the old import stuff speedway has. I don't have a lot of pressure,so my red hose has held up for 5 years on a 292 GMC with a 390 Holley.
