Hey guys, For most of you who know me, know I sold my 5-window yesterday. My life has revolved around that car for the last 3 years now.. When I heard the wire transfer went through it was like the whole buildup flashed befor my eyes, the burnouts, the doughnuts... damn im gonna miss that car. It wasnt realy for sale but a guy seen the car, fell in love and had a whole lota money. So anyone reading this, Hanks gonna step up. I am on the lookout for a steal '32 3-WINDOW body. My cell number is 419-989-0754. Thanks for any help. Hammer Hank
I was in the car when Roadstar got the call from Race telling him you sold it for crazy money. I was just shaking my head, I couldn't believe you had done that, as much as you LOVE that car. But, on the other hand, I do understand. It'd be very hard to pass up a deal like he offered. You'll build another, even cooler, I have confidence. For those that don't know Hammer Hank, he's the one that won the burnout contest at BilletProof-Detroit...... AND rumor has it, he's the one that did all the donuts on Woodward during the Broken Dreams Cruz. Never seen anything like it before. Good luck sweetie finding what your looking for. Take your time though, don't let that money burn a hole in your pocket. You can hitch a ride in Big Olds anytime.
Henry,I watched that Model a go from project to perfection. You did a great job building that car. I have the utmost confidence you will build another winner. We all know those 3 winders are a dime a doezen so I don't think you will have much problem locating a rust free one for acouple grand I'll see you in Kalamazoo and we'll go for a ride in the Roadster, I KNOW that will cheer you up.
What the hell?!??!?!?! That car was soooooo sick! I know you'll build another on even better though. I bet it went for more dough because of the burnout contest win.
I'm not sure that I have ever seen it, but everyone else liked it so it must have been cool. Please post a pic.
For those of you who have never seen a pic. This is the final version as seen in June at Indy. Hank, I can't believe you got rid of it unless the money was great. I'm sure whatever you build next will be great. I have to agree with Roadstar, I watched the car for the last two years and all you have done is improve it.
Damn, Hank! That was a REALLY nice hot rod...good luck with the new project. The legend of that car will live on!
Damn, you make it sound so sad Hank. Im not saying you aint going to miss that car, but if thats what your first Hot Rod came out like at your age, the next one is gona be Rodders Journal material.
Hammer...........say it ain't SOOOOOO Damn son,I'm gonna miss seeing you hammer that car all over town And I do mean HAMMER! Good luck man,you deserve it,now get your ass busy on your NEXT ride. I know you will do us proud.......
[ QUOTE ] Hmm,move to Denver, buy a house, build another car..... [/ QUOTE ] NO! We're keeping him in the Midwest all to ourselves
