I think you just keep out doing yourself Kirk. I really appreciate it when folks take the time to post the pics like this. I vote you the official photographer! Only thing is, there's always a short fat guy in all those close ups.. Seriously, you are good with the camera, I'm jealous of your talent. The gay cowboy shoe is really a snow plow in drag.
As for the talent compliments...thanks. The camera does most of the work though. I like my composition, but all of those ****ons and switches don't interest me much. My paintings and art are always the same way...impact over quality. I'm not a very patient person.
Like I said in another post, that guy was pushing me and another guy really hard to win an award. He wanted to make sure his and that other pile got judged. The sedan might barely p*** for a hot rod (I said BARELY), but the cattle catcher/train thing is not a hot rod nor a custom. Maybe he'd fit in at one of those "art car" shows or something. If he'd put half his effort into learning about hot rods before he started building, he might have gone in the right direction. Both cars were pimping whatever shop it was too. I guess we can use it as a warning.
True story. My wife and I walked past the train plow thing, and she said, really loud, and in front of the owner: I'd kick you in your sack if you brought anything that ugly home! God I love my girl!
