Big Olds will be staying at home, I'm riding shot gun in VooDoo Child. I have never been to Columbus before for the GG event. I've always worked those weekends. I'm really looking forward to it and meeting all the OH Hambers, including you, that I haven't met before. Shall I just look for the big, fuzzy, carebear??

Is that a HUGE trophy on the top of your car????? VooDoo Child is a <font color="black">black </font> '40 Ford with copper and pearl white tuck n roll interior and copper steel wheels with WWW. There will be a huge tupperware container of cookies in the trunk but for you I'll make sure I bring a string. I'll try to keep the cookie off the pavement as I troll around looking for you.
Denise, Don't be suprised if Big Olds starts acting up when you return. I know I wouldn't be to pleased to know my owner left me in the garage to fool around with an older coupe for the weekend. Take it from me fellas(and ladies) areas like Garage Grown, And people like Jim A, And now the addition of Kirk(BiletProof Dude), are changing the face of the Goodguys Shows across the country. I got to know Kirk pretty good at the Indy show and He is very serious about Hotrodding and Hotrodders. It's very much about the guys that fix up old cars and drive and have fun with them. This year in the "Winners" circle at Indy, I counted no less than 5 primered cars and a few others that would not have been welcome or even concidered for that matter, two years ago. It's always gonna be about making money for the promoters of these shows but thats justbuisness.The gold chainer attitude is giving way to real guys that fix up cars and enjoy them. And I don't mean,dare I say,"Rat Type"Rods(hey that could be my new term) I'm talking from very unfinished to vry finished. And EVERYTHING in between. Jim has done so much with the Gazette to include all types of cars and not just the Trailer Trophys that come to show us how much money can be spent on ONE car. So I just want to thank these guys for helping to make some positive changes to these show and give us something to look forward to to actually have fun and hang out with the friends we have made here and out on the street.
Me and my clan will be there by Thurs. 11am. We go for all the pre-festivites. I'd like to park in the Garage Grown area with ya'll, but I also want to be with our group!?! And I know not all of them would want to be there(some are shy ) Hmmm...what to do! Anyway, I'll be there..look for the "Former MrGasser/Donzie" coupe. We're staying in Worthington at the Residence Inn by Marriott
How many in your group? The was pleanty of room in the area in Indy. As long as you friends cars arn't billet laden they will be more than welcome for sure.

I'll be heading to Columbus for this, too. It'll be a cool time to meet some of you East Coasters, and check out rides I've only seen pics of. I gotta "work" at this event, so it wont be all beer & bratwursts for me, but I'll try to say hi as much as I can! Scotch~!
