Event Coverage *GOODGUYS Des Moines 2009 - a Ton of Photos + Cob's BBQ!*

I met up with some Omaha and Lincoln friends on Friday morning to head over to Des Moines, Iowa, for the annual Goodguys event. It is held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds and is a show I always enjoy going to.

Despite some rain on Friday evening and a cool day on Saturday, we had a great time.
An Autocross was added to this event this year and I'd say it was a huge success. Jason (jho) and his dad just put a cool '63-1/2 Galaxie back on the road. I'll add a video later on in this thread of him taking it through the autocross.

Friday evening, 'Cob' or Corncobcoupe, on here, had an open invite for anyone that wanted to come over to his place for a great dinner and beverages.
Thanks alot for opening your house up to us hoodlums - we had a great time and really appreciate the hospitality!!

Jeff (Hiboy32) met up with us on Friday morning, but unfortunately couldn't spend the weekend with the crew. He sent us off in style, flying by in his awesome '32 5W coupe!

Rode with Jason in his '63-1/2 Galaxie. Man, was that fun!
The 'squealing' noise you hear is the driveshaft slightly rubbing against the exhaust during hard cornering. Jason figured that out when he got home...
