Frank Kurtis sports car. This is #5 of 17 built. It and #17 the only ones with a Caddilac engine. The rest had flathead Ford engines. It won an award at the Goodguys show. This 1950 Ford did not win an award.

I did't pay a lot of attention to the crowds. But it didn't seem all that crowed. I do know There were lots of cool Rods and kustoms. And it's always fun to drive the track, and hang out with some very NUTTY friends.
Couldn't ask for a better day as the weather was perfect Saturday other than leaving early morning in the dark and with no top it was cold with the fog coming across the road and really fogging up the windshield !! Driving home was NICE in the 32 roadster And yes the last pic I bought it 48 deluxe commader Studebaker convertible solid solid car ! !
All the seats are painted different colors,As many times as I have been to Charlotte I never paid any attention to them but your right,it does make them look full! It was the idea of the France family to make it appear the seats were full and at the same time they have removed a lot of seating because of the decline of fans. HRP
I was trying to sell my Falcon-from a seller’s point of view the crowds were light, Especially in the nether regions on the far side of the swap meet. I befriended my neighbor and we moved our cars closer to the show side Sunday. A little more activity But Sunday in general was a disappointment Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
