I met the owner/builder at the Amokat Emporium aka Steve's place the Thursday before GG's

we all agreed that it was a very cute truck, he was pleased and said that was good,
and that was the very look he was after,
    cute :)

    seriously though,
    the workmanship is superb,
it is truely a fine machine

The window card wasn't filled out. I may be able to get a name in a few weeks when we start the story on the event.

Ok l can help you out with this one it was hard to get a shot of this because l had to keep chasing people away so l could take a picture. You can only stand around so long it gets annoying maybe l should walk around with a big tripod like Kirk. (joking)
    Pretend lm important.
l know l will put a Hop Up shirt on or some other mag shirt and carry some camera bags around that would work...:)
Here's some different views that you don't have.

lt would have been nice to get some more of the cockpit and the engine l gave up else l would have had a few more for you.
lf you want l could send you the same pictures in more detail .
Also l zoomed in his registration number is 1926 if that helps you out.

lots of cool cars- but I did see quite a few goldchainers! I've seen it a bit lately, but goldchainers have now gotten sick of the backlash and are pumping ungodly amounts of money into their trendy "rat rods" I don't see a lot of drivers, hot rods put together in spare time without regards for looks. Not talking about shit boxes, but honest to goodness daily drivers. A lot of those were way to clean to be low buck

I talked to the owner and his daughter about the straight 8 buick vintage roadster. he has been building it in his garage for awhile. the blower is off a late model EFI car (T-bird maybe) that he fabbed a duct to mount the carbs to. he said it ran great.

  20. Kirk,

If you do run across a name/town let me know. My buddy would like to try to buy it back.

    Thanks, JH

The card said he lives in the same community where I work. I'd didn't see him, but would love to meet the guy and see where he builds such interesting stuff.

The car was at a cruise night Thursday, and again I could not find him...

Kirk, great pictures, thanks for posting them!

Kirk, I don't know ya...but ya got a great eye for what's a good subject - whether it be an entire car, or a particularly neat feature thereof. Your pictures are excellent.
