Our little car club (The Full Moon Car Club) in Columbus, Mt. has been raising money for charity & other good causes for 3 years. We raised enough money through our annual Jim Noble Memorial car show in 3 years to be able to give a $1000.00 annual scholarship to a Columbus graduate for the last two years and fund will be everlasting. We are currently raising money for the Laura Hanson Memorial Foundation. Our goal is to raise enough money to be able to give $1000.00 annually to charity or other good causes. This year we donated $500.00 to the volunteer firemen & $500.00 to the ambulance crew. We keep absolutly no money for ourselves, none, period. We are currently raffling off a 2004 H&H tiltbed car hauler. We are only selling 1000 tickets at $10.00 per ticket. If you would like to help, send $10.00 to Ric Hanson, po box 252, Columbus, Mt. 59019 & I'll send you back a stub. Most car show we attend and sell tickets at are gracious enough to let us in for free although we do not ask or expect it. Such was the case at West Yellowstone, Burn the Point in Billings, Mt. & recently at Cody, Wy. However I did have a very bad experience at the Goodguys car show in Spokane this year. Long story short is that the show was good (I paid my $40.00 entry fee)but those running it are not Goodguys but Greedyguys. I've been emailing them about the problems I had at their show and they won't even respond to my emails even though I am a member #169212.
I've emailed every department on their web page. They just want to ignore me. Goodguys?? I don't think so. Our club is about helping others. Goodguys bigwigs are in it for themselves.
blah blah blah, "look at us we are super heroes in a world filled with otheres who only do for themselves", self righteous prick, leave Goodguys alone and eat some rat poison instead of bithcing to those of us here about it
I must say I find your whinning to be disgraceful as your first post on here.. We have not idea who you are or why you have a beef with the GG organization. If you are looking for sympathy, you will not find it here. Why do you feel the need to call it Greedyguys, because they would not let you sell your tickets for your charity.???? If you have a problem with them then work it out with them. If Goodguys does not want to reply to your email then that is for them to decide. Unless Ryan has asked you to stay, I would ask that please take your issues somewhere else. This board is about hot rods and customs... As for stirring up problems, the true members of this board do that enough already..
I would bitch about goodguys, but last weekend i took my car to the park and sat in the lawn chair by myself, it was kind of boring, i like to look at other cars too. (insert sarcasm here)
Luke Jivetalker & Boones sound like real pleasant folks. I am not the only one with an issue with what others also call Greedyguys. I am a member of their organization & it is not up to them to answer my questions & emails but their responsibilty.
this is cool, I bitch about a guy's stupid post about his SUV, and people call me gay and "put up or shut up"... (what does that mean anyway, and who says that?) I need to take a class on what posts are ok to rip on and what posts to leave alone. I wanna be on the right team for once. If it's not about hotrods it should be fucking deleted period. Ryan should re-state his mission statement again. But as some jackass pointed out, I only have 200 posts so my opinion dont matter.
None of my posts said that Goodguys would not let me sell tickets. Where did Boones get that?? I just said that as a dues paying member of Goodguys that if I have a problem that they should have the respect to respond.
Dude, God's honest truth you're making less and less sense with each ensuing post. We're not mind readers. What the hell's really on your mind? Don't the Goodguys have a messageboard where you can vent your constipated dribblings? It's not like there aren't six kabillion folks on the HAMB already complaining vociferously about the GG organization. Me? I like the GGs.
........so take it up with them. Remember, Goodguys is a business, not a charity and have every right to ignore the livin shit outa you or anybody else they feel like ignoring. They are in business to make money, not friends. But, like was pointed out to you in the above post, this is a board about traditional rods and customs, not a sounding board for disgruntled GG members. Have a nice day and keep up your charity work.
Goodguys does not have a message board, nor will they respond to my emails. I am a dues paying member of Goodguys & as such they should respond to my questions. What part of that do you not understand? I know Goodguys officials are on the HAMB & would just like to get their attention. Nuff said.
The part I don't understand is why you would came to our house [uninvited...didn't you read the warning out by the gate? TRADITIONAL RODS AND CUSTOMS!!!] looking for one of our guests to vent your frustrations on.
What amazes me is how soo many people bitch about GG show's, yet there's a shit load of cars and people at all of them. If ya don't like 'em, just do something else and don't go to the show. Rat...
This reminds me of that joke at the end of Annie Hall. A guy walks into a psychiatrist and says, "Doc, my brother is crazy, he thinks he's a chicken." And the doctor says, "Well, why don't you have him committed?" The guy replies, "I can't, I need the eggs." Everyone has a bitch with Goodguys but there's something for everyone and it beats sitting around watching T.V for that weekend. We need the eggs.
In defense of Goodguys and their responding to you. Believe it or not they have a limited staff. Most of which are working at a GG show each and every weekend during the year, i.e. not on the computer answering email. The best way is to speak to one of the GG staff at a show or speak to your local representative and let them get an answer for you.
