Hey everyone, I work for the newly re-opened Goodies Speed Shop and I'm looking for pictures, stories and the whereabouts of the 12 (at least) cars, altereds, dragsters and other vehicles that were adorned with Goodies Speed Shop logos. Here's a page I put together on a little of the info I have so far. http://www.racehome.com/goodies.htm So far I've contacted the following professional photographers about their photos of the vehicles; Steve Reyes, Bob McClurg, Dick Towers, Jere Alhadeff, Mike Ditty and Dan Bott. They have been helpful, but now I need more info and details than they can offer. If you have pictures of your own or scans of pictures from magazines I'd be happy to see them. If they are not your pictures I need to know who took them and what magazine they were published in and the issue date if possible. I'm also looking for photos of other things associated with Goodies, such as pics of the stores (San Carlos, Salinas, Walnut Creek and San Jose), models, tribute cars, T-shirts, jackets and other stuff like matchbooks and decals. Thanks in advance, Tony Huntimer Goodies Speed Shop

I know that the Salinas shop truck'56 nomad is owned by Henry Gong. It's the blue and white custom redone by Cole Foster. He still lives here in town and is a west coast regular show goer.

Great to have the name back. Wish we could bring back the Fremont Drag Strip and others. I will look through some of the few hundreds of photos from the strip to see if i can locate a few for ya. Brad
Thanks guys. Brad, I look forward to seeing some new pics. There's a new (and under construction) website for the shop. You can see some cool pics of our new van at www.goodies-speedshop.com Later, Tony Huntimer
If people will buy street rod and traditional parts from us we will start selling them. Is there a market for them in San Jose? Take it easy, Tony Huntimer
