Goofy injuries working on your rides

    Heres a stupid injury to add to the list.I had been working on the rear cross member for the model t.....I had cut and moved it a couple times,but no weight was on it.Well after setting it on the rear spring to figure out ride height i noticed it was about and 1/8 inch crooked....without putting much thought I went straight to cutting the tacks on the right side,as soon as i did that the right side came shooting up(since the left was still tacked and i didnt put stands under the frame to take the weight off the cross member.So that put a nice cut and bruise on my cheek.I laughed a bit when I was cleaning the cut which made it hurt more.Thats what i get for rushing.

    One time while MIG welding, I stopped for a second to check my work and while holding the gun decided to rest my hand on my leg. That welding tip on the wire was still extremely hot and I accidently pushed the button and that tip went right through my pants and about an inch into my leg, like hot butter. But It didn't bleed one bit and healed rather quickly.
