got a basket case trasn am

    the trany isent shifting at the proper rpm need some info on haw to set it, this is naw my 3rd trans am but its the first one whith a autotrany.

    Hey brudda,
    this is a "Traditional" forum, pre ~1964 auto's only.

    However, since we are all good guys on this board:eek:
    I will try and help you out.

    If you have an overdrive trans then all you need to do is set the Throttle Valve (TV) cable. There are a shit load of websites that will explain this procedure.
