I just bought a motorcycle (ysr50) for one of my kids for christmas, and I wanted to see about getting a title on it. The person I bought it from, bought it from a police auction, were they gave them all the paper work needed to get it title. Well in turn they gave me all the paper work. I just wondering if anyone else has had to do the same kind of thing? And if there are any extra steps I might need to take.
i'm not an expert on titles in texas, but it sounds like you have enuff to do it legal. i'd just go into the local DMV and see what happens
hey jeffro! i finally sent your fender out yesterday.sorry it took so long but i threw in some extra stuff to hopefully make up for it-george
yorgatron, Hey thanks, that great to hear! I was afraid that it got lost in the mail(you know they always say not to send cash). I wasnt going to sweat you about it, cause I figured that if the cash got stolen, it was my fault anyway! thanks though
i just hope i got the address right,i sent it UPS and they insure it for up to $100 free.you live on Ave.B,right?
ahh, yamaha ysr's, that takes me back. my first bike was a canadian model ysr80, then a ysr50 (i thought the colors were cooler), and then some frankensteined ysr with a watercooled two stroke dirtbike engine, yz I think. I love those things!
A buddy of mine has had many of those, here in Michigan, they get registered as a moped, or scooter. They issue a sticker for it, but no plate.
