My buddy had this car all summer and drove it a little here and there, he bought it out of a barn, it had a 265 with an adaptor when he go it so he did all the mechanicals and got her driving, i knew he was talking about selling it so i was over the other night and we stuck a deal, i put 100 miles on it yesterday driving it all over and back, its a fun car to drive, nothing beats 3 on the tree! basically the car is stock with the exception of the 265 and a set of posies leaf springs. im not sure what my plans are but i do plan to get the nose in the weeds and have my wifey, the stich****** put some tuck n roll in it! and stick a set of whitewalls on it. JEFF
they are great cars, some people think they are kinda ugly, but i really like it, i just got back from another quick jaunt, man its fun! JEFF
Jeff that is cool. The more I drive my 46 the more I like it. I like the three on the tree too. You should have your wife do two sets of seats. Or give me a deal on those seat covers. LOL
well, nothing like spending a hot day lowering a car! got the front down a good few inches, it had a ton of leafs in the new spring so i took a few out. JEFF
good start....take a few more out. thats one of those cars thats been on my to get list since about the 9th grade......
Freakin******in!!!!!!!! Those early Chevy V8s fit in there better than the flatheads. My first car in 59 was a 47 two door. Plenty of room in the back seat for whatever. Keep it the way it is.
I like the 40s sedans..... that's gotta be a lot of fun. Rain or shine, go anywhere in it with no worries, cool.
