awesome car. i wouldn't bother with the front brakes. disk brake conversions kits are cheap and the front brakes ****.

here are some pics of mine. this is what i started with.

If the wood grain is in good shape, I'd keep it. It's cheap to paint over, expensive to have it re-woodgrained!

no updates yet, been short on cash still gotta change the M/C
and i had a lil fuel leak between the fuel pump and the carb out the fuel filter and when i replaced the filter and line noticed the inlet on the carb was kinda loose and the threads half stripped so i gotta fix that or get a new carb. but after that she'll be back on the road as a stocker for awile when i get a house and more room in a year or two than im gonna do a full tear down and customize........

Nice ride GEBGARD ... if nothing else you cold paint it flatblack, paint the wheels red then put it on Egag for about $40,00 ...

... just make sure you use the words; patina, rat rod, rare retro

OK, on second thought keep it, C:cool::cool:L it out, and drive it like a rented Hyundai .

  11. Nice looking car......good score.
Check on ebay..........you can buy either original or reprint repair manuals
and parts manuals. Those cars are fairly simple, but have their little
quirks. Olddaddy, over on the P15-D24 Forum, makes a good front
disc brake kit which he sells. I found a new old stock master cyl at
a truck brake shop......they happened to have a couple of them in their
warehouse. Wasn't cheap, but what is? Good luck, and enjoy.
