Folks Of Interest got another email from bruce yesterday

he said he was going to drive the coupe up to victoria, canada from L.A. this coming week...didn't say what show is going on up there?
then he was going to store it at monterey and use it for transportation at pebble beach concours.
then enter it in the quail...whatever that is...says he's having a blast driving it all over...nice to know it's not just sitting in a stuffy car collection some where.
said he would send pics later...hope so...that is all.

 

The event in Victoria, is Deuce Days, which only happens every 3rd year. Great that it is getting driven.

david kelly was downsizing, and sold it back to bruce about a year ago

 

Awesome !.... I knew Bruce really loved it,... But Bruce is a cl*** act and friends always come first. Glad to know he has it back !.... Did you ever tell him all the problems with it ?....

Looks like you have to have a cool car to participate, and he has one.

 

I believe Bruce was instrumental in hot rods being accepted into Pebble Beach.

 

By far, the best 32 3w I have ever seen.

The Quail is a big deal I guess. A 40 cpe I ***embled a while back has been entered and accepted there-I'm not going as it is way too pricey for me. Man who owns the 40 will send me pics at least.

 

I'm still a big fan of this car and I'm glad it is in capable hands. In a way, this coupe helped me to find the HAMB, when I saw mention of the board in a magazine article. Then I saw all of the awesome stuff here posted on a model car board and ended my lurking.

Dang it Larry, your car is a damned gateway drug.

 

And there are no 12 step programs either.......thank GAWD!

 

Look up Quail Lodge and you will see what money is all about! Beautiful venue for the cars and yours will be a standout. Bruce drives all of his cars.
