Got another generator question ?

Hey guys Im sorry if its been covered before couldnt find it. Can a 12v ford generator regulater be used with a chevrolet generator? both have the three terms on the bottom of the regulater. Thanks Dave

 

No...grounding path is different. This would require internal change to the routing of wires from fields at least.
NAPA can still supply the right thing.
