Features Got another HJ, a 51 this time.

Hello all, picked it up Friday and got it running after sitting in an apartment garage for 42 yrs and not been run for seven. I only paid a 1/3rd of what he was asking. Here is the add and video.

Congrats!! That is the original paint color as mine.

 

It looks like all of the fenders have been replaced before it was put away in 1970.

 

I have spent some time in the garage and this is where I am. The frame is bent from being hit front and back and if I can't get it straight then I will use the frame from the 53(floor gone in it), after I build a jig for the 53 body. The engine does not sit down as the steering bot is too high so I will mount it a inch or so lower on the frame. The 51 is going to be a driver so no straight axle for it. That will be the 53.

 

The frame should straighten out with torch,hammer,come-along,tape measure and big tree to chain it to.
