It took a while but finaly the new spray over is done.

....did I say "spray over"? It took a lot of sweat, tears and blod till all the old coats, primer and whatnot of the last 66 years was gone.

The color is a bit darker than it appears on the pics - Seafoam Green

I have a '46 Chevy two door sedan that's the same color. Is this car going to be all stock, or? Would like to hear more about it.

I like it. Is it a urethane spray or something else?

@Squablow It´s a mild custom bomb. Lowerd 2 inches, fender skirts, lot´s of gizmos and accessories like a Swamp Cooler, DeSoto 3th brake light and whatnot plus some drivetrain hop up.

The engine is a pretty warmed up 261 with a Fish M3 racing carb (that was actualy driven by Fireball Roberts at Daytona in 1958) . 1959 Overdrive, open driveshaft and 59 pickup rearend.

Im not into paint chemics but I know it is a type of color they use for machinery and farm equipment.

    I keep you guys updated,
    Frank

    Stovebolt6,

Very cool color for that body style, it'll looked very nice when it's completed.

That color looks great... neat to see the background in those photos'... don't see alot of cathedrals and stone walls near our neck of the woods...
