Already posted this awhile back but here they are again. The ONLY way to stripe a dash! The skull is on the ashtray
About my most prized possession is a 36 ford dash, That is painted gold and pin striped in white black and blue with a very well done large breasted pin up gal rolling dice. By look, it must be from the 50s a least.I will try and get a pic. up next week. Greg
Fantastic, guys. I'm trying to get some ideas of how I want my '55 Buick dash striped and being artistically challenged............. Keep 'em comming and thanks, -Bob
Here's the dash in my newly acquired '49 Chevy (3 weeks ago today). Not a bad likeness of Marlyn but I'm not crazy about her riding shotgun all the time. Plans are for her to reside on a wall in my '50s diner and I have an "idea" for a new glovebox door.
Don't know whose glovebox this is, but I do know that fellow DEADBEAT, Jime' Litwalk painted it! Let the drooling begin...
[ QUOTE ] Here's the dash in my 39 Plymouth coupe, art work by Bruno Perry. Just noticed, are those "Fiat" guages? they look really nice! [/ QUOTE ]
That killer dash looks like Craig Frasier stuff to me. Check out www.gotpaint.com there is also some good body painting pics!
They are Fiat. Got em at a swap meet for $10.00 about 10 years ago. Positive ground but just wire everything backwards. They work fine.
here's a shot of the dash in my 5 window, I did this a long time ago. Never get lost with a detailed map like this
