Wow! is right. If only the stuff was in nice condition. (-:

Even with lots of money available, you can't help but wonder how something like this happens. These guys must have started collecting a LONG time ago.

    VERY impressive.

it's guys like that that really bother me...what use are those cars hidden away like that. sure they're being preserved, but correct me if i'm wrong...aren't cars made to be driven?? leno at least drives his collection, even if he doesn't allow free access to check it out. those guys are akin to the cat ladies that you see on the news who hoard 342 cats in one little apt. it's a disease and it doesn't help anybody. neat collection, but it needs to be shared and used. stop hiding it away and truly enjoy it...

Something that you don't realize is that those guys buy, sell and trade all the time.

Thanks for sharing the pics... I too got to go on this trip through the Car Barn, and it was amazing. The restoration shop was so clean that you could probably eat off the floor, my garage has never been that clean/organized...

  7. What a beautiful collection! I was drooling when I saw the FI Pontiac, because I knew how rare they were. My favorites were the Cameos, but I guess that is because I have owned one for 34 years. I was surprised that there were no big block Comets or Fairlanes.

Swell. No close-ups of the Studebaker Hawk.
