I own a Euro car repair shop, you know, Vw, Audi, Porsche, etc. repairs and other such fun? things. A long time customer comes in and needs repairs on his car. He knows I'm into hot rods, and says I have a fresh flat head engine sitting in my shop, taking up space, says, you wanna do a little trading? Yes was my reply... also, he says, I have a 40 Ford 4 door , and a 52 Ford panel truck, out in my compound that needs to go away. I almost died. Went and looked at the stuff, the 40 is a parts car, fairly beat up, but not horrible, the panel is quite nice, running and usable as is. The flatty is looking fresh as a daisy. So for some Vw repairs, I scored all the stuff. I have a good home for the motor, under the hood of my 31..
After I dig the cars out ( damned snow), and after I get back from GNRS, I'll post up some pics. The forty is going to be an organ donor for the A.
