  2. Congrats John, It looks great with those bias tires. I can't wait to see it again some time and let me know if you need that roof, publicity is always fine by me. SO GLAD IT WENT TO A GOOD HOME and some of the PNW guys may have some history on the car. Lastly I have a bunch of pics of the car on my other (broken) laptop but am having the files burned to a disc and will make sure you get them... Good luck... J...

    Pork:

Wow, I got pictures of your car in my photo album, also from the early 80's. It was at Seattle International Raceway, sitting in the depot. It had a small sticker in the back window: For Sale $10,800 !!

    Small world, indeed...

My scanner is on the fritz, so no pix yet...

I was fresh in from Sweden back then, all I knew was that American Graffiti had screwed up my head for life...

...and here was this 5 winder for sale. I stood there and stared at it for hours !!

At the time, I was making $7.00/hr, it just as well could have been $100,000 [IMG]

Actually, I am kinda glad to have "closure" [IMG]

I am on the road today, but I will work on the scanner tonite.

You are lucky to find one that nice. Some of us weren't that fortunate. Good Luck with your new project. Welcome to the club.
